Usefulness of Content:
The content of this web site makes the opportunities at Google seem even more enticing. The website explains briefly what Google wants from their interns and what the interns will be afforded for their service to the company. It is helpful that they specify the placement cycle and whether the positions are full time or part time. It is also specified the length of commitment. Google having so many projects to maintain has decided to put out an informative teaser for searchers with moderate to high motivation.
Ease of Navigation:
Google's approach to interface design is carried through all of the Google family sites. This site offers left side global navigation and right side local navigation. The navigation interface is very paired down to only hyper linked text underlined in blue. There is no java script of rollover styling of the links. There are limited contextual navigation links also in blue.
Consistency of Design:
The source code reveals that this web page is styled by four style sheets, one of which is for printing. The colors and font are similar to other Google websites. The design is very consistent and shows Google branding.
