Amy Macdonald's

http://www.amymacdonald.co.uk/index.php

Intended audience
Amy Macdonald is a singer/songwriter from Scotland and this is her Web site so the intended audiences are people who listen to or interested in her music.

Usefulness of content
The site covers various topics on Amy Macdonald from her biography, news about her music, blog, forum, her MySpace, Bebo, and YouTube page, video clips and audio clips of her songs, information about concerts, or even to buy her album online. It basically covers everything about Amy Macdonald and her music and provides various platforms from blog, forum to MySpace for users to interact with each other or with Amy.

Consistency of Design
The site is very consistent in design. Each page is composed of the same headings, text on the right and pictures of Amy on the left. The background color and picture change in every page but still maintain the vintage, washout look throughout the site. All in all, I really love this simple vintage design of the site which I think also reflect Amy's personality and her song.

Ease of Navigation
The site is very easy to navigate. The main headings on the top of each page lead to different topics, some lead to another page while others like YouTube, MySpace and blog open up a new page that leads to those sites. One problem that I have with this site is the ad for Amy's album that pops up on every page even though I already closed it in the first page. So everytime I change to other page within this site, I have to keep closing this small pop-up window which can be very irritating sometime.
